My name is Greg Bagdasaryan. I describe my work in many ways. In all cases, I love to design very minimalistic objects that are very simple and straight forward in design and functionality. I'm a product design major. So it's really important for product designers to identify a problem, commit to it and find solutions in the creative process, researching, and ideation. Home good products are a lot of my designs, I feel that the home is somewhere we relax and enjoy our own ambiance and defines us of who we are. Having a personal connection with a product or an object is something I look for in design, what are object and products that make us keep them forever and even pass them down generationally. For example, something as simple as a coffee table can be kept and be passed on because of its quality and also the memory of what the table was used for throughout that time period. Keeping things and enjoying them rather than just using for its purpose and throwing it away is something I avoid doing. I want my products to be kept and appreciated. This is very important to me because we live in an era where everything gets thrown away, so it's up to us young designers to truly tackle down this problem and design products to identify a connection with people with a physical object whether it's sustainable reason and the less is more concept of thinking.
